We heal ourselves through the foods we eat, how we move, and knowing ourselves (if you know your body you know when something is off before any other person or test can tell you). Diseases that have been created through our lifestyles, food we eat, or environment (and that includes environments with toxic fucking energy that then create unnecessary stress) are never reversed through the punishment of our bodies nor is it healed by taking supplements that trick the body into thinking something is happening when it is in fact not. That simply tells the body that its natural signals will be denied and then it becomes as confused.
Phytonutrients, micronutrients, macronutrients...that's where you look. Everyone has ways to heal that vary. Fucking with diets that restrict your calories like that is a fucking joke. I totally believe in Intermittent Fasting. That's different. You are still consuming daily calories in a particular eating window. And there are a lot of benefits to doing this. That said, you can also fuck shit up if you do it and your body is not well/woman/you don't know the science behind it/you don't listen to your body.
We live in this "culture" that promotes instant gratification, suffering to achieve happiness, information that isn't aligned with science (definition: the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment), meaning this shit can be repeated (be aware of studies that have been tossed out but have no repeatable evidence...go find the studies and READ it. Then experiment. If it isn't working for you adjust it, and do it a little bit more but for fuck's sake know your shit.)
We live in an age where we can find information with a press of a button. That doesn't mean all information is intelligent or beneficial. And just because people are saying it works, look at the EVIDENCE. And not just surface shit. GO DEEPER. Read info that has experiments and repeatable results. And understand bodies while similar are not the same. And years of deconditioning your body with how you sit, how you sleep, how you move, what you eat, what you don't eat, not sitting still and listening to yourself (meditation) take EFFORT, EFFICIENCY, SCIENCE, COMPASSION, and TIME.

Now I AM healed. And it's ongoing. The only thing constant is change and my body at 37 has different needs/wants then I did when I was 7, 15, 25, etc. And that healing and knowledge came from research, experimenting, and loving myself enough to figure that shit out and NOURISHING myself.

Love yourself and heal yourself. If you don't know it...fucking figure it out. You receive knowledge by keeping an open mind/heart and then integrating it through your personal filter/body to figure out YOUR truth.
